Writer / Copywriter Job Tampa Florida
Socius Marketing is a fast-growing
Internet marketing firm that seeks an experienced,
highly motivated SEO writer / copywriter who can work
with our clients and take websites from concept to
completion. If you are an excellent writer and can
quickly create clear and thorough marketing text,
then we want you on our team!
What We're Looking For:
• In-depth knowledge of the
English language and the ability to write clear, precise
marketing text
• Adaptability – You can quickly and seamlessly
switch from writing about one topic in a certain style
and tone to an opposite topic and tone without losing
concentration
• Team Player -- You work well as part of a
team and are willing to take direction, but you can
be trusted to get things done on your own.
• Hard Worker – Our staff writers must
be tenacious in completing assigned projects
What You Would Be Doing:
• Researching and writing websites
for clients and in-house projects
• Posting content to websites using Dreamweaver
• Sourcing and formatting pictures to match
content as needed
• Working with clients to create marketing text
that accurately reflects their business while still
adhering to SEO requirements
• Our copywriters must meet with clients when
needed to capture their style and concepts
• Incorporate search engine optimization techniques
to optimize search engine performance.
• Work directly with management team to establish
and execute creative strategies for new customer sites
and customer updates along with our own in-house sites.
• Proof various proposals and other documents
for spelling, grammar, and clarity as needed
Qualifications for staff writer:
• Bachelors in English, Journalism,
or a related field
• Fluent in Microsoft Word
• Experience with Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and
Excel a big plus
• Experience in Internet marketing and/or SEO
a plus

Compensation: $30,000 - $42,000 per year
