Socius Marketing’s philosophy is, and always has been, based on the concept of client-side optimization, which was developed by co-founders William Harper and Chris Behan in response to their own unfortunate experiences with another Internet marketing company. Client-side optimization is not just a philosophy, it’s a promise that when you hire us, all content provided by Socius remains the property of the client, even if we no longer work for you. It’s a promise that we only use open source systems, which ensures client control of the website in perpetuity. It’s a promise that we only practice ethical search engine marketing techniques, based on the guidelines put forth publicly by Google. And it’s a promise that we will always serve as a good steward for the brands our clients have worked so hard to build.
